285 Kent was a DIY concert venue in Williamsburg Brooklyn, hosting acclaimed performances and events from various music genres, with a focus on representing LBGTQ+ communities and people of color. It closed in 2014 when V*ce Media took over the building.
Blood Orange, Future Islands, Deafheaven, & Frank Ocean all performed at 285 Kent, with F*cked Up, DIIV & White Lung playing the final show on Jan 19, 2014.
